Indigenous Cultural Awareness Trainings
Colonization has caused systematic discrimination that directly affects the quality of service that Indigenous people receive. We believe that the first step to reconciliation is understanding and respecting one another. Cultural awareness trainings and cultural safety practices are vital components in fostering understanding and respect for diverse cultures, including Indigenous communities. These trainings aim to enhance individuals' understanding of cultural differences, historical contexts, and the impacts of colonization and systemic discrimination on Indigenous peoples and their communities.
