Testimonials from Past Students

To say that I enjoyed my placement would be an understatement. The moment I arrived at the office, I was welcomed into the team and began actively working with them. I feel my duties were diverse, and ever-changing. I was consistently included in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and was asked for my input, I felt truly valued as an employee. I worked on multiple proposals, managed events, and learned so much more than I could have in the classroom - about teamwork, about what it takes to drive an organization forward, and about the clients that I was working with on a daily basis. My work was far from dull and made me feel like I was part of something bigger and more meaningful than just a job.

I can’t say enough good things about working with Under One Sky. I was welcomed with open arms and could tell right away that Under One Sky isn't just a place where people work, it’s a community. I was supported and actively encouraged to voice my opinions, to share my thoughts and to find my passions within the organization. I worked on program development, event creation, client interaction, media content and so much more. I loved the collaborative dynamic and the countless opportunities to get involved, from drumming to committees, participation was a highlight of my experience. I developed teamwork skills, organizational skills, professionalism and never stopped learning. Thank you!
