Nurturing Roots Project
Under One Sky’s Nurturing Roots Project focuses on developing culturally safe programs and supports for children with exceptional needs and their families. Through consultations with families, teachers, resource teams, EA’s, behavioral technicians and support workers, Nurturing Roots is committed to providing our community with culturally safe supports.
This resource guide aims to empower urban Indigenous families by providing them with the tools, resources,and culturally relevant support they need to navigate services for the child, caregiver(s), and the family as a whole. It is designed to help families access resources while addressing the gaps in services and support that have been identified in the community.
