Indigenous Nursing Outreach:

This service includes regular check-ins with families, assessment of specific needs for resources and supports, case management, facilitation of access to resources, and delivery of health promotion activities.

“Healing Spaces” Mental Health Counselling

This service offers access to licensed Indigenous counsellors and others with relevant experience, who have demonstrated culturally-safe practice. All clients, regardless of health benefits, insurance, or personal financial means, can access our network of counsellors and receive timely mental health support. We pay the professional fees when clients do not have the financial means to pay themselves.

Indigenous Nurse Practitioner:

Once each week, Indigenous nurse practitioner (NP) Trina Clooney offers a clinic at our centre. NP services include health assessments, perinatal care, health education, ordering of medications and medical tests, follow up appointments, and referrals to other services.

Jordan’s Principle

This service is provided to complete and file applications on behalf of families who's children have unmet needs and require financial assistance to ensure that their child's needs are met.
