Skicinowato Speak Maliseet Language Classes
If you have ever wanted to learn the beautiful Wəlastəkwey language, Under One Sky is proud to offer our Skicinowato Language Program with Language Specialist Kelsey Nash-Solomon. Kelsey is passionate about our beautiful language and sharing it with others through fun class lessons, drumming and songs.
Skicinowato has 2 levels with each course running for a period of 10 weeks. Classes are once a week for 2 hours each, with unique and fun lessons that are sure to provide students with the resources to strengthen their language knowledge and continue to learn and grow in the Wəlastəkwey-Language!
Level 1: Level 1 is for anyone that has not yet taken language with Kelsey or for those who feel like they would like a refresher.
Level 2: Level 2 course is offered to those who have previously completed Level 1 with Kelsey.
